    Final report (February 2017) - The project Life Story Central involved practice-focused research into innovations intended to support dementia care by nursing home care practitioners and their managers. In this final project report the researchers have written down their conclusions.

  3. Leren van betekenis: Dialogisch levensbeschouwelijk onderwijs op negen basisscholen (Learning from meaning: Dialogical philosophical education at nine primary schools) 31 January 2017

    Publication (January 2017) - This book contains the harvest of an interesting experiment with contemporary philosophical education at nine primary schools in the country. The project was made possible by a project subsidy from SIA Raak in 2014. This enabled schools to participate within the project for two years.

  5. Eigenheid. waarde en authenticiteit: Een onderzoek naar de profilering van ritueelbegeleiders (Individuality, value and authenticity: research into the profiling of ritual coaches) 31 May 2015

    Research reports (May 2015) - The purpose of this research by Angela Stoof was to give advice to the LBvR on how to better promote the profession of ritual counselors. The research consisted of three parts, with three related reports, which can be downloaded as one pdf here.

  7. Waardengerichte uitvaartbegeleiding (Value-focused bereavement counselling) 18 February 2015

    Publication (February 2015) - André Mulder wrote a piece on value-focused bereavement counselling for the journal Uitvaartzorg (Funeral care). Should one proceed in accordance with the 'you ask, we give' principle, or, as Mulder argues, seek to provide counterbalance where authenticity, responsibility or beauty is a factor.

  8. Festival van de Kwetsbaarheid (Festival of Vulnerability) 13 December 2014

    Programme (December 2014) - The festival took place on 13 December 2014. The festival featured a packed programme of activities, workshops, theatre, music, dance and exhibitions. Visitors had the opportunity to gain experience and attend performances devoted to vulnerability as part of life and a condition for personal growth.

  9. School!Gids over onderwijs zonder denominaties (School!Guide to non-denomination education) 03 March 2014

    Publication (March 2014) - Research group member Erik Renkema wrote a chapter for School!Gids. The guide sets out the VOS/ABB and Public Education Association's vision of the future of primary and secondary education, based on the School! concept of cross-denominational education.

  10. Rapport onderzoek Levensbeschouwelijk ondernemerschap (Report on a study of philosophical enterprise) 22 January 2014

    Publication (January 2014) - More and more theologists are going into business providing spiritual guidance and coaching. The consultation platform for professional theology programmes wants to prepare students better for such career paths. After a design study, we have established a minor and an introductory course to that end.

This report sheds light on professional youth care practices at eleven locations.

    Publication (June 2013) - A lower birth rate will lead to more Christian and state primary schools merging to form cooperative schools. Erik Renkema focuses on cooperative schools and has found that philosophical and religious education is often still taught on a segregated basis. Interview in het Nederlands Dagblad.

For a year, staff told each other about their engagement with residents, relatives, colleagues and managers, and their reflections on themselves.
