- DIVERSE to Hold Rectors and Presidents’ Meeting in Istanbul
DIVERSE European Alliance will convene in Istanbul on 27–28 May for a landmark event: its first meeting since becoming an official alliance. During this occasion, rectors from member universities will sign the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU), formalizing their shared commitment to cooperation and collaboration in European higher education.
Hosted by Beykent University, the meeting will bring together rectors and presidents from the alliance's member institutions to present joint strategies and shared solutions for the Alliance’s future.
The agenda includes presentations and working sessions to review the Alliance’s current status and progress, building on outcomes from prior gatherings—such as the recent meeting in Brussels.
Participants will tackle key challenges in research, teaching, learning, and mobility, fostering open dialogue and deeper collaboration among universities. The programme will also feature discussions on internal cooperation and communication strategies, along with guided visits to Beykent University’s facilities.
This meeting marks a significant milestone for DIVERSE, reinforcing inter-university collaboration across Europe and promoting the development of joint initiatives that will shape the future of higher education.
