Urban Innovation
Engage citizens for sustainable innovation
Cities are where the future happens first. They’re full of opportunities and challenges: sustainability, energy transition, housing, social wellbeing, and more. Usually such probplems are so complex that your research skills are being put to the test. Oftentimes, you also need to add new research skills, that are better suited for Urban Innovation. In this hands-on module, you’ll work on a real urban challenge from an ongoing project in Almere (a growing city near Amsterdam). By the end of the module, you’ll deliver a working prototype or concept that could actually make a difference.
This module is scheduled at the same time as Dutch Society, Economic Mindsets in the age of AI, Drama and Improvisation, Youth and Media Literacy, Behaviouoral Change in Organizations and Personal Leadership. They can therefore not be taken simultaneously.
