Cambridge English B2/C1
Learn English and prove your skills to the world
Improve your English language skills with these modules that will take you to a higher proficiency level. We offer two classes:
- Cambridge English B2, where you will advance from intermediate (B1) to B2, upper-intermediate or independent user level (B2 is required to enter a pre-master's programme)
- Cambridge English C1, where you will advance to advanced user level C1 (this level enables university entry).
These courses are designed to prepare you thoroughly for the official Cambridge First and Cambridge Advanced exams.
The B2 module is scheduled at the same time as Intercultural Awareness. They can therefore not be taken simultaneously.
The C1 module is scheduled at the same time as Behavioural Change in Organizatons and Personal Leadership. They can therefore not be taken simultaneously.
What's Cambridge English like?

Cambridge B2 or C1 for international students (5 ECTS credits)
In the 14 highly interactive 2.5-hour meetings of both programmes, you will work on all four skills:
- speaking
- listening
- reading
- writing
These skills will be tested in the last two lessons using official Cambridge exam material. You will also build up a portfolio. Should you want to do the official Cambridge exam and earn an official Cambridge B2 or C1 certificate, your teacher will support you.
Test your level of English
Find out what your level of English is with the Cambridge online FCE (First) Sample test(opens in new tab). If you score 60% or higher, you are ready for the C1 course. If you score lower, you can sign up for the B2 course. Or try the General English test(opens in new tab) for a quick test result.

These two modules are in the same time slot, so they cannot be taken at the same time.
