    Publication 2017 - Millions of children worldwide are subject to violence, on a daily basis. They are exposed to violence at home, at school, on the streets, in the media, in children’s books and cartoons, with the acts being perpetrated by parents, relatives, peers or strangers. In this publication Tine is focusing on sport as one of the contexts in which violence against children can take place.

In this article, the newspaper asked five experts, including Tine Vertommen, Marianne Cense, Corinne Dettmeijer, Nicolette Schipper-van Veldhoven and Marjan Olfers for their reaction.

    Publication (2016) - If you want to keep sports clubs attractive to youth members, you should ask your club members what could and should be improved when it comes to training sessions. In Arnhem recommendations were made for a local korfball team, from which others could profit.

    Publication (2016) - The Dutch Royal Association for Physical Education published a special edition of its magazine (no. 5, volume 104), wich focused on a range of topics related to establishing a more safe sport and exercise climate from a pedagogical point of view. Our researchers contributed to this edition.

    Poster (2016) - Gym lessons offer opportunities for growth. However, there is also a risk of sexual boundaries being crossed.     Publication (2014, daM Uitgeverij) - Children study the behaviour of parents on the sidelines. The message to come out of research into parental behaviour by pupils at Da Costa school in Soest was that children don't want parents (and certainly not their own parents) to behave in an unrestrained way on the sidelines.
