Windesheim Runner-up in HBO Keuzegids 2024
Windesheim remains a solid runner-up in the ranking of 'Best major universities of applied sciences' of the Keuzegids HBO 2024.
Windesheim University of Applied Sciences is the runner-up in the ranking of 'Best major universities of applied sciences’ of the HBO Keuzegids 2024, just one point behind Avans UAS in first place. This is the ninth consecutive time that Windesheim has achieved this ranking. Twelve Windesheim Bachelor’s programmes have been awarded the ‘Top Programme’ designation. These top programmes have scores of 75 points or higher and are assessed as significantly better than the national hbo average, which is 60 points.
Executive Board President Inge Grimm: “I am proud of this honourable place in the Keuzegids. We work together at Windesheim to provide education of outstanding quality in the regional areas of Zwolle and Almere. All staff, lecturers, researchers, operational support staff and management are committed to our students, to each other and to the professional field. Together we give substance and shape to the basic principle of our course for 2028: ‘Closer’. To be regarded as the runner-up of major universities of applied sciences in the Netherlands means that our joint efforts are recognized.”
Just like last year, Windesheim UAS achieved a far-above-average score in no less than four subject areas, viz. economy and business, earth and the environment, exact science and informatics, and technology and design.
