Rights and obligations

To protect your interests as a foreign student in the Netherlands, the Dutch universities and other institutions of higher education have drawn up a Code of Conduct International Student Higher Education regulating various aspects of their relations with international students.

Windesheim has signed the Code of Conduct, with which we guarantee to provide international students with accurate information about the various study programmes, their content, quality criteria, the language of instruction and the certificate(s) or degree(s) awarded.

Why has Windesheim adopted a policy regarding inappropriate interpersonal behaviour?
Windesheim aims to offer its staff members and students a safe work and study environment, free from any and all obstacles to full and equal participation in labour and educational facilities. Therefore Windesheim has adopted a ‘Policy on Inappropriate Interpersonal Behavior’.

For all bachelor’s programmes, Windesheim has a student’s charter, the so called Education and Examination Regulations (OER). This document includes the curriculum of the programme, as well as a lot of practical information about the organization, arrangements and learning. For example, information about exams, resit opportunities, tutoring, the educational philosophy and details of study activities.
