At Windesheim, we warmly welcome students, staff, and visitors to our buildings and campuses. We are committed to providing a safe and supportive environment in which to study and work. We believe that everyone should be able to participate fully and equally in education and work without being affected by inappropriate behaviour.

To achieve this, we promote a culture based on our shared values: respect for one another, positive interactions between students, staff, and visitors, and the prevention of unacceptable behaviour. Everyone has a role to play in creating a welcoming and safe environment. At the same time, the management of our university of applied sciences has a particular responsibility to foster and maintain this culture.

To support a positive study, work, and living environment, and to ensure the responsible use of all Windesheim facilities, including ICT services, these House Rules set out a number of regulations. They have been established in accordance with Article 7.57h of the Dutch Higher Education and Research Act (WHW). The House Rules are closely linked to the Code of Conduct and the Regulations on Inappropriate Behaviour (PDF).
