The Executive Board has been following developments regarding the war in Ukraine with concern and endorses the position(opens in new tab) taken by the Netherlands Association of Universities of Applied Sciences.
In our thoughts we sympathize with and support those directly or indirectly affected by the war. Where possible, we will offer help to our students.
Help for refugee students
Windesheim has 2 bachelor’s programmes fully taught in English: Global Project & Change Management and International Business. On top of that, we have a broad range of English taught short track programmes(opens in new tab) in various fields.
Refugee students who want or need help in choosing to study in the Netherlands can contact the Study in Holland network. They can contact them with questions about studying via info.ukraine@nuffic.nl(opens in new tab). These can be questions about, for example, admission, residence and study options.

Funding project DIVERSE European University Alliance
The GreenTech4Transformation (GT4T) project has been awarded funding through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Higher Education Initiative as part of their 2024 Call for Proposals. The project is delivered by the DIVERSE consortium. Windesheim is part of this consortium in collaboration with ZWINC.
“I help young entrepreneurs find their place”
On Thursday, May 22, that entrepreneurial talent will once again take center stage during the annual Student Entrepreneur Day at Windesheim. A conversation with Cankut about his drive to support young entrepreneurs in the region he feels at home in.
