- Windesheim ranked first in Masters Programmes Selection Guide
Hogeschool Windesheim has moved up from fourth to first place in the category of major providers of higher professional education in the Master’s Programmes Selection Guide 2018.
With a score of 62 points Windesheim is up 4.5 points from last year, the biggest climber in the major providers category. The Selection Guide covers eight Windesheim Master's programmes. Hogeschool Utrecht ranks second, followed by Hogeschool Arnhem Nijmegen in third place.
The best-scoring Windesheim programme is Physical Education and Sport Pedagogy with 72 points. This programme has been given a plus or double plus rating on curriculum, lecturers, scientific education, practical orientation and supervision. Most Windesheim Master’s programmes achieved an average or above-average score in the Guide.

The Guide is compiled by the Centre for Higher Education Information (C.H.O.I) in Leiden. NSE 2025: Students at Windesheim are the most satisfied of all broad Universities of Applied Sciences
The results of the National Student Survey (NSE 2025) have been published by the National Study Choice Center. No fewer than 8,500 students from Windesheim University of Applied Sciences shared their opinions on how they experience their education and study programs. Student satisfaction at Windesheim is high: 75% say they are (very) satisfied with their programme. A result to be proud of.
Funding project DIVERSE European University Alliance
The GreenTech4Transformation (GT4T) project has been awarded funding through the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT) Higher Education Initiative as part of their 2024 Call for Proposals. The project is delivered by the DIVERSE consortium. Windesheim is part of this consortium in collaboration with ZWINC.
