Collaborative Branding Week
Collaborate with students from various universities to develop a European branding strategy for a real client's branding challenge.
You will develop a tailored branding strategy by analyzing market trends and customer behaviour. This will be pitched to your client. The programme consists of both virtual and physical aspects. Following virtual collaboration, you and your teammates will meet for an intensive week in Tampere, Finland. During this week, you will collaborate closely to refine and showcase your final strategy.
Teaching and learning
The three primary learning goals encompass branding, market research and international collaboration. You will gain hands-on experience by working with real clients. All lectures, master classes, and study group meetings follow a "learning by doing" approach.
For who?
Bachelor students interested in branding and collaborating with international peers. You must have obtained a propaedeutic diploma.

Online programme
You will join forces with students from different European universities for a 10-week online collaboration. The whole project consists of six stages:
- A kick-off (design thinking process).
- National market research, looking into the brand identity and performance of a European company.
- Joint online sessions.
- Understanding the client’s problem.
- Intensive week in Finland.
- Brand guide and strategy preparation, considering factors like trends and the customer journey.

On campus week
Following the online sessions, we will transition to an in-person week dedicated to face-to-face interaction and collaboration for the completion of the branding project. This phase is your opportunity to unleash your creativity and brainstorm branding concepts and solutions. You will start the development of a comprehensive brand strategy and craft a brand guide. Additionally, you will showcase and present your work to the client.

Results
By the end of the module, you will have completed the following:
- Market research report
- Analysis and comparison of market research & branding challenge (report & infographic)
- Brand presentation
- Brand guide and strategy
You will be able to:
- Implement diverse branding concepts.
- Collaborate effectively in international teams.
- Conduct market research to analyze a product, service or competitors.
- Develop, test, and enhance a cohesive brand strategy.
