I was not completely sure what I wanted to study. However, I had always been interested in business and working in an international environment. Over time, I realized that International Business would allow me to combine my interest in commerce with my curiosity about different cultures and global markets. Right now, I am a second-year student and happy with the choice I made.

My experiences so far have been very positive. One of the highlights was the Blended Intensive Programme in Finland, where I worked for a week with students from across Europe on a real-life branding project. This experience strengthened my intercultural communication and teamwork skills.
I also joined a study trip to Hamburg as part of the German course, which improved my language skills and business knowledge. At the start of my first year, we visited the European Parliament in Brussels, which gave me the chance to get to know my classmates.

Intercultural awareness

I really appreciate the diversity within the programme. You meet people from different cultural backgrounds and build meaningful connections. One important lesson I have learned so far is how significant cultural differences can be, even between countries that are geographically close to each other. This has improved my intercultural awareness and adaptability, which are essential skills in international business.
The courses are also very diverse, which keeps the programme dynamic and interesting, as each period brings new topics and perspectives. Finance was initially challenging for me. However, it turned out to be less difficult than I expected. The guidance from lecturers was very supportive, which helped me understand the material better and successfully pass the course.

The lecturers are approachable and supportive

I have a positive opinion about Windesheim. The facilities are modern and well-organized, the classes are interactive, and the lecturers are approachable and supportive. The structure of the programme is clear, and there is good guidance when needed, which creates a professional learning environment.

Zwolle offers everything you need

Zwolle is a great city for students. It offers everything you need, including a lively student atmosphere, good facilities, and a welcoming environment. It is big enough to provide opportunities and entertainment, yet small enough to feel personal and connected.
