Campus life

We are working hard to make sure that students and staff can make the most of our fantastic campus and feel safe and included. From provisions for academic and personal support, computer facilities to restaurants and cafeterias, life at campus should be as enjoyable and stress-free as possible.

Explore Windesheim

Are you an Americano or a pumpkin spice latte kind of person? Either way, we have got you covered!

The Espressobars in the C-building and X-T-building have a wide array of luxury coffee, fresh tea, sandwiches and soft drinks on offer. And if you're early, you can also come here for a tasty breakfast.

The Grand Café (building G) serves Starbucks coffee, tea, breakfast and snacks. Vending machines with hot drinks are located in all buildings. You can pay here contactless with your debit card.

The Media Centre is the central library of Windesheim. On the website of the Mediacentrum you will find a huge collection of publications, magazines, databases and other (scientific) information. Useful workshops are also regularly organized.

Do you need physical books, magazines, newspapers or DVDs? You can borrow them free of charge. Besides this, there are plenty of quiet working spaces where you can study, read or work on a pc/laptop in peace and quiet. There are also places where you can connect your laptop to a screen and work on projects together.

We have two restaurants in buildings C and X. You can come here every weekday for lunch and dinner. In addition to a wide range of products such as fruit, sandwiches, snacks, tea and fresh coffee, the menu changes weekly. Do you just want to hang out with your classmates for a bit? The Sports Café and Grand Café are great places to enjoy a bite to eat and a drink together.

You can exercise cheaply at our own On Campus sports complex. In addition to a fitness centre, the sports complex houses three swimming pools, including a hot water pool and a therapy pool, a climbing wall, a judo room and a physiotherapy practice. Purchasing a season ticket, pool pass or single ticket can be done at the On Campus reception desk. Students can do fitness, swimming and climbing at concessionary rates: € 115 per year or € 14.50 per month, per activity. All-in subscription: € 172.50 per year.

Dealing with study obstacles like doubts about your programme, health issues, or financial stress? Remember, you don't have to face these challenges alone.

Every student has a personal counsellor, but you can also ask for help from your lecturer, a career counsellor, student psychologist, student dean, confidential counsellor or the student chaplaincy office.

Disability and special needs

We can arrange academic support and adjustments if you have a disability, specific learning difficulty or long-term health condition that has an impact on your ability to study. Support is flexible and based on your needs. You will need to discuss your case with a student counsellor(opens in new tab) to determine what support is appropriate for you. For example, you might benefit from having extra tutoring, help meeting deadlines or examination adjustments.
