What to expect (20 ECTS credits)
In this programme, you'll work together with a team of fellow students. You’ll start your own business. Not just theory, but action! You’ll build, test, present, and sell. You’ll develop an idea you believe in together with your team, and work it out into a business plan. A plan that helps you convince key parties, target audiences, investors, and customers to believe in your idea. Then, you’ll put that plan into practice and launch your concept.
Core elements
- Team building
Together with 2 or 3 other students, you will form a startup team. You’ll choose a direction together, brainstorm ideas, and define your shared mission. - Ideation
Using the Design Thinking method, you’ll develop several innovative concepts. You’ll choose one of them to develop throughout the project. The choice is yours! - How do you know what’s happening in the world?
You’ll learn to use tools and techniques to map out the world your idea exists in, and to factor that into your approach. - Prototyping and testing
You’ll turn your idea into a prototype. This could be a 3D mock-up, a website design, etc. And at the very least, you’ll create a compelling concept video. - Branding & positioning
How do you make sure your idea gets seen? How do you stand out in a crowded world, gain allies, and build momentum to make your idea a success? - Storytelling
How do you effectively tell your story in a way that emotionally resonates with the people you want to reach? You’ll develop at least one media campaign for use on social media, with access to our facilities! - Sales, operations & finances
Once all that is done: what steps do you take to make sure your idea doesn’t remain just an idea, but actually works in real life? - Business plan and startup
How do you present everything in a way that wins support from sponsors, media, investors, internal and external stakeholders or CSR-focused partners?AI & Digital Transformation - How and when should you apply AI? What results can it bring, and how do you use those results to strengthen your concept?
