Mobile Solutions

(Autumn and spring)

Do you want to specialize in the multidisciplinary development of hybrid or native apps?

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic we cancelled all exchange programmes for autumn 2020. We hope to see you in spring 2021!

Do you want to collaborate with students from different disciplines and with a variety of expertise? Are you willing to tackle problems that require a multidisciplinary solution? Do you want to find and implement solutions for real-life business assignments? Then this exchange programme is perfect for you! The Mobile Solutions programme is a collaboration between Windesheim ICT programmes and industry.

About the programme

In Europe the coming five to ten years about three million app developers will be needed. Mobile Solutions provides you with the knowledge, experience and skills needed to develop a native app.

You are going to develop a hybrid or native app for a company. The focus is on implementation of the app, leading to maximum user experience on the specific
mobile platform (Android, iOS and/or Windows Phone). During the assignment you strive for a final product that is ready to be marketed, published in an app store and used by a real user group.

Real-life projects

This programme will pay attention to various disciplinaries needed to market a fully functional app. A real life business assignment will be performed in a multidisciplinary team of three or four students. Most of the time you will be working at a company.

Every spring and autumn

The exchange programme Mobile Solutions starts twice a year in spring and autumn (February and September). The application deadline for admission for the autumn semester is June 1st and for the spring semester is November 1st.

 Theory and assignments

Theory will be learned on the job. To back this up, the semester configuration is demand-driven: workshops are offered just-in-time to support specific current learning issues. Some examples of workshops are Project management, Interview techniques, Time Planning, Stakeholder analysis and Research. The Workshop results are directly applicable in the project assignment.
