This industrial and technical demanding environment is the context of the exchange programme Industrial Automation and Robotics. Companies like Philips, AWL and VMI are important partners for us. This programme has an international setting, which gives the opportunity to work with international students and companies. Innovation in an industrial environment is the leading force in this programme.


About the programme

The course modules of this exchange programme exists of:  industrial robotics, production technology, industrial components, control of industrial processes, machine vision and operations management. RoboDK is used for simulation and offline programming of our industrial robots.

Theory & Practice

You convey theory into practice. You work on a problem at a real life company with a project team for two days a week. For participating in the company project, you will need to take into account travel time of up to one hour, as some companies are situated outside of the city of Zwolle.  

Group work

You will work in a group with Dutch students and you follow classes with other international students. This will help you to develop intercultural skills.

Credits back home

As an international exchange student at Windesheim, you will get study credits that may count towards the qualification you are studying for back home. So studying at Windesheim doesn’t have to mean extending your overall study time. You will make a ‘learning agreement’ covering your stay.

Two years of bachelor studies in a relevant field and English-language skills at B2 level.
