Dutch Society I (3ECTS)

The module Dutch Society 1 aims to teach you knowledge about Dutch history, politics, environment and economics. The study takes place in an international setting and aims at contrasting Dutch society with the students’ society. By comparing Dutch society with their own society, students broaden their horizon. In the meantime, students gain an understanding of Dutch society and reflect on cross-cultural differences.

Dutch Society II (3 ECTS)

In the module Dutch Society you will work on a project: small research of your interest concerning Dutch Society. The topics of the book Discovering the Dutch (Emmeline Besamusca, Jaap Verheul (ed), Amsterdam University Press, 2010) will help you to decide on the theme of your project. Your teacher will guide you through the process.
