Dutch Language I: Introduction (3 ECTS)
This module covers a range of topics in which Dutch language skills will be learned and practised for use in everyday situations, e.g. meeting someone, talking about the languages you speak, small talk and dinner conversation, asking for information, shopping at the market, asking for directions, what time is it etc. The grammar you learn serves to help you structure the sentences, as well as providing you with some basic knowledge about the language. The learning outcomes of this module are to increase your active and receptive Dutch language skills up to basic level, with a focus on communicative skills in small talk, the correct use of vocabulary and grammar in sentences, as well as provinding you with more knowledge about the language.
