Expanding the frontiers of nurse leadership during pandemics
Lessons learned during the covid pandemic
This Blended Intensive Programme concentrates on lessons learned during pandemics, covering characteristics of nursing leadership and how they were used during past pandemics at different levels (national, institutional, and personal). You will learn what infectious diseases are and how they spread, and also discuss topics like stigma and ethics, including fake news and vaccination decisions.
Teaching and learning
You will be able to understand how nursing leaders have behaved in the past and how they develop themselves as future leaders. The international context of this programme enables the comparison of different national approaches. This will lead to an understanding of the crucial role of international collaboration, particularly in the face of worldwide health crises.
