    Publication (2015) - Dutch parliament wants all schoolchildren to have a one-hour gym lesson three times a week. Ivo van Hilvoorde was interviewed about this by the magazine Juf (Miss). He pointed out, amongst other things, that the home environment, friends and sports clubs are actually much more influential.

The project is investigating whether and, if so, how electronic exercise games and other electronic resources can improve the quality of gym lessons.

  9. Zaalvoetbal in de wijk (Indoor football in the neighbourhood) 01 December 2011

    Publication (2011) - Research commissioned by the Dutch Football Association into the impact of an indoor football tournament in Zeeburg. The study sought to determine what effects the tournament had on pupils who didn't participate, taking account of the neighbourhood that they came from, their gender and their ethnicity.

    Publication (2011) - Research into sport and young immigrants at a multifunctional sports and educational residential centre called New Welgelegen, in a neighbourhood of Utrecht. The study formed part of the project Sports Participation amongst Young Immigrants and Their Parents, undertaken jointly with Kennispraktijk.
