Geert Heideman is associate professor Polymer Engineering since 2012. He is responsible for the Rubber Recycling and Industrial Additive Manufacturing programmes.

Education

Geert studied Chemical Engineering at the University of Twente, where he obtained his doctorate in the field of rubber technology.

Research experience

From 2004 to 2012, Geert held positions in applied industrial research at National Starch & Chemical (member of the ICI group), later Henkel Nederland. As a research chemist, he was active in the research and development of new products for the Diecasting and Forging industry, as well as for the support and improvement of existing production processes. From 2007, Geert was responsible for the development of new product lines and technical support for the European market.
