'Strategic entrepreneurship: from family business to entrepreneurial business family'
As a professor, Anita will be working for the Dutch Centre of Expertise in Family Business, which conducts practical research into the entrepreneurial behavior of family businesses. Next to the focus on corporate governance and succession, the Centre of Expertise emphasizes - with the appointment of a second professor - the importance of 'strategic entrepreneurship' to increase the continuity of family businesses. This research theme includes creating new opportunities in the market, innovation and growth. Moreover, the aim is to assess how entrepreneurial families can contribute to the development of a sustainable business model, with a specific focus on people, society and planet.
